I cant receive emails anymore because of hosting?

I have an email address with my website powered by google sites and through gmail. I needed a more complex website so I hired a designer and he changed the host/ transferred the domain name to godaddy. Ever since then I cant receive emails through gmail anymore although I can still send them. how do I fix this?
