�100 to spend on a new camera to take to Kenya - best one to buy?

I was looking at buying the FujiFilm FinePix S1600, but some of the reviews for it are a bit dodgy. I'm ideally looking for a bridge camera (but it doesn't have to be), one with a good zoom and at least 7.5 megapixels. Thanks.
