Can you only get a Louis Vuitton bag from an official LV shop?

I never buy any designer bag as expensive as Louis Vuitton from places other than the actual store itself or it's outlet store. I wouldn't take the risk with spending your hard-earned money on a fake handbag. Just save up, don't take the risk.
