Dodgy email with link! Does my computer have a virus now?

I got a few emails from my friend and 2 of them were just had a dodgy link attached. I did NOT open the link but i did click to read the email as i thought it was a normal email from my friend not a scam or anything! Has my computer got a virus or have i been hacked for clicking on the email but NOT the link?
