Help, I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks in august and I need to get a tan however I don't burn or tan!?

In august I am going on a clubbing holiday to Greece for a week and then the day after I return I am heading off to Spain which I'm really excited for, however, I NEED a tan! I'm naturally quite fair, with white skin, green eyes and light brown hair. Usually on holidays I barely tan, I don't burn at all and I hardly tan. I do not want to go looking white as white. I try tanning in the sun on the occasional hot day in the UK but it makes no difference, and I'm starting to be tempted by using sunbeds however I know the risk. I use fake tan all the time, st mortiz or fake bake, to achieve a nice tan and have been considering just doing my normal fake tan routine on holiday but I've heard dodgy stories of fake tan going wrong and going patchy in the sea and pool which I don't want to have to deal with. I don't know what to do, if anyone knows any long lasting fake tanners or ways I can naturally tan will be really useful
